Emergency Shelter

We shelter homeless families with children. To become a guest at Night of Peace, contact the Baltimore County Department of Social Services at 410-853-3000. BCDSS will process your information and send us a referral. As required by County regulations, all shelter guests can stay for up to 90 days. Night of Peace is available to all current guests from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. We open all day only during inclement weather conditions.

Case Management

When we have received a referral and you have become a guest at Night of Peace, our social worker will assist you through the process of becoming self-sufficient again. This service includes creating your own transitional plan establishing your goals, providing referrals to housing and social services programs, following up with appointments, and other services as needed.

Meals

We serve nutritious meals for breakfast, dinner, and two snacks to all guests. We are a proud participant of the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Laundry and Shower

Our guests are able to shower and do laundry at the shelter. We provide personal care items and other products needed for this service.
